How was everyone’s weekend? I feel like ours flew by! Between talent show rehearsal, Girlfriend Gala prep and planning the Fashion Show, I blinked and it was gone! The time change sure didn’t help either. I’m all for more daylight, but it always takes me a couple of weeks to adjust to the time changes. Anyone else?
I swear, this tunic is where “oldie but goodie” came from. I purchased it two years ago to wear to The Council On Aging Casino Night, and have since worn it more times than I can count. I love the lilac color, which is odd, because purple is actually my least favorite color. I’ve noticed that I’ve purchased lilac/lavender quite a bit lately, though! The Free People tunic featured above is sold out, but I found a similar one from the same brand. I feel inclined to purchase it as well because of its beautiful embroidery. Jesus, take the wheel. Or at least take my credit card.
I’d been on the hunt for a cute leopard wedge sandal, and I stumbled upon these by Matisse. I was very impressed by the first pair of Matisse I purchased (here), so buying these came easy for me. Surprisingly, these were also the first pair of espadrilles I’ve ever bought. Call me crazy, but I’ve just never really been a fan! I really love these, though, so I see another pair of espadrilles in my future. As for sizing, I suggest going down by half in this particular style. Sizes are limited, so if you want them, I’d act now rather than later. In my experience, this seems to be the case in most Matisse footwear.
I hope everyone has a great week! I’ll be buried in spreadsheets, but hopefully I’ll manage a small window in which to enjoy the beautiful weather we’ll have for a short time!
