How was everyones weekend? It was raining all day Saturday, but Alabama won the SEC Championship game so being stuck inside all day was well worth it! Roll Tide! Sunday night we took AC to Christmas at the Falls and it was so pretty! The amount of work that goes into putting that on is incredible! I’m so thankful to live in a community that goes all out for their residents during the holidays.
I purchased this sweater (along with almost ten more. Oops?) from American Eagle a couple of weeks ago. They were having a BOGO 50% off sale and I got a little carried away. I tend to lose my self control during a sale. It definitely sets me back on my savings schedule for that new bag I’ve been working toward, but when in Rome, right?
This sweater is lightweight, making it perfect for these Southern Fall days that we’ve been having. It’s slightly oversized, so it’s easy to style with leggings, like above, or you can front tuck it with denim. I always try to purchase pieces that can be worn a couple of different ways. I think that it would also be cute with leather leggings if you were going for a slightly edgier look.
You’re all probably tired of seeing this bag by now, but I think it really speaks to its versatility. It’s my every day bag! If you purchase a high quality leather bag, you will have it forever. My go-to for high quality, affordable bags is Rebecca Minkoff. This post features the Love crossbody, this one the MAC crossbody, and this one the Moto hobo. When you find a brand that you can 100% stand behind, you’ll rarely stray from them. When I’m in the market for a new bag, or it’s sale season, I always check Rebecca Minkoff first.
Do y’all have any holy grail brands?
