Good morning, y’all! Anyone have any exciting plans this week? Yea, me either. BUT, we head to Charleston next Wednesday and I’m so excited! I’ve never been but have always wanted to go. So far, we have plans to spend a day downtown, a day at Foley Beach, and a day visiting Magnolia Plantation. Any other must do’s? I’m all ears! Especially if it involves food recommendations!!
I ordered this Free People dress from Revolve a few weeks ago, and wasn’t too sure of it at first. I love my clothing to be oversized, but sometimes it can overpower my small frame and make me look bigger than I am. That fine line is hard to walk if you’re like me and carry your weight in the middle. I decided to keep it and photograph it to really see how it looked and I’m glad I did because I really like it! Free People rarely lets me down. I can actually only recall having to return two of their pieces in the six+ years that I’ve been a consumer of their brand. I should have named my blog “I wear a lot of Free People” lol.
As far as Revolve, they’ve definitely became my go-to retailer. But much to my dismay, I end up returning over half of what I purchase. Just a perk of not being 5’8”. Although, I’ve learned lately that if you can almost see the models lady bits that it’ll be a good fit for me. Anyone else use that rule to shop online? Ha.
I have a couple of posts I’m planning that I think y’all will enjoy. I finally bought a Louis Vuitton, but it’s not the one you think, and I got it for a steal. Also, I took the plunge and purchased some Golden Goose sneakers, but again, they won’t be the ones you’d expect from me. I plan on reviewing both items, my experience with purchasing them, and why I finally did so.
