As mentioned in this post, I’ve been working on styling some outfit ideas for Thanksgiving. Our family keeps it super casual, but if yours doesn’t, this outfit is a good middle-of-the-road option!
I’ve mentioned in multiple posts since starting my blog in 2012 that the Express Portofino blouse is the ultimate closet staple. Without a doubt, it’s the most versatile, stand alone piece that I own. I have 10 (!) solid colors and 5 patterned ones, and I can assure you, I won’t stop there. Ha!
In this particular one I decided to give the slim fit version a whirl, and honestly, I think I prefer that cut. I wear a medium in Portofino’s to allow extra room through the chest, and since gaining weight, the regular cut looks a little boxy on my small frame now.
This particular Portofino has a small ruffled neck, making it slightly different than the regular ones. I love both, but appreciate the attention to detail on this one. And the print? Well, I’m a print loving gal and this one gives me heart eyes. So perfect for Fall!
I’m linking a few past posts below that would make excellent Thanksgiving Day outfits. The first would be perfect if your family dresses up, just swap the denim out for a fitted trouser or legging. The latter two are great for a more casual get together!
