How was everyones Mother’s Day? I hate to make anyone jealous, but mine was pretty perfect. We filled up on fried food at my favorite local mom and pop place, The Choice, and then I had a two hour nap. After that, I left B to tend to the kids and I went to Ulta for a much needed spending spree. We capped off the evening with homemade tacos and a few hard seltzers. All was right at 785.
I bought this maxi dress from local boutique Tara’s while overseeing a few fittings for the GSG Fashion Show back in early April. I really fell in love with the colors and pattern and thought it would be perfect for an event I have coming up. It’s really lightweight and I love the button details down the front. Tara’s had so many cute maxi’s, but length tends to work against me, so I only left with this one.
I know y’all have seen the clear bag trend everywhere this season. Not going to lie, I was very hesitant at first. While I love the trend, my purse stays far too messy and full for this to be a practical purchase for me. But as you can see, I caved and bought one for myself. I can call it market research, right?!? Anyway, I’ve been using it as an occasional bag for my dressier looks, and it’s perfect for my wallet, cell, and keys. I especially love that you can change out the pouch for a different look. I do love the look of the white insert the best, though. Switching it up with a leopard one would be fun, too!
I searched for days for white wedges. These were sold out everywhere, but I finally found them on Jet. A few sizes have came back in stock at Shopbop, if you’d like to check there. They’re really comfortable and fit TTS. I think I’m going to order the cognac ones, too.
