It’s Friday! Which means absolutely nothing to me, but to most people, they start the countdown to the weekend as soon as their alarm goes off on Monday morning. I’m only off on Sunday’s, so there’s no countdown for me. Well, I like to countdown the loads of laundry I accomplish on Sunday, does that count?
Also, huge shoutout to my hair colorist, Lauren Ponder, because how freakin good does this color look at golden hour?!? #BottleNo5 I can’t wait to slowly go all over with it!
This sweater was part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and by far my favorite purchase. It’s currently only available in Plus Sizes, but it’s on sale! I doubt they’ll restock, but for all of my Plus Size gals, snag it while you can (sizing starts at a 0x)! I’d say it fits TTS, I’m wearing a Medium.
These jeans are the Hudson Niko’s. They are a wonderful fit, TTS. I bought them last year around Christmas, and while currently, they’re no longer available in this camo print, these are a great (budget friendly!) pair. I’ve worn camo print skinnies with stripes (seen here), grey, oxblood, and now pink. Honestly, the options for pairing are endless. Now if I could just find a good camo utility jacket!
On a more personal note, I had my first board meeting for the United Way Success By Six Girlfriend Gala yesterday. I felt so out of place! Not because of the other board members, but it’s always so awkward when you join a new committee! Everyone is seasoned, can chime in, and knows what’s going on. And then there’s you. It’s like being a fly on the wall but everyone can see you and hear you breathe. In my case, hear me mouth breathe. Damn sinuses! I feel like I’m already spread too thin, but my term with GSG is almost up and I know I’ll regret it if I don’t commit to another cause that I believe in. I’ve been on the decorating committee for the last two years, so what’s a little bit more responsibility, right?
