Today’s post (followed by tomorrow’s) is made possible by my forgetting about them. I was cleaning out my media library and didn’t remember posting them, and sure enough, I didn’t. What’s the likelihood of skipping over two different looks styling the same basic sweatshirt? Likely, I guess. But, that makes y’all kind of lucky because I paid $40.00 for it, and it’s on sale now for $15.98! I’ve been coming at ‘ya lately with the deals lately, huh?
Anyway, this is how I’d typically style a sweatshirt: with leggings or jeans and sneakers. I added this scarf because it was so windy and cold that day, but a scarf (or cute hair accessory) help to jazz up a regular ‘ole sweatshirt. I like this sweatshirt because it has some length to it so you can actually wear leggings and it covers your rear. No one wants to see your legging butt. Okay, maybe some men want to see your legging butt, but it’s typically a bad idea to trust a man on what looks cute anyway.
These moto leggings probably look familiar to you because I’ve styled the olive colored ones so many times (here, here, and here). They’re very comfortable and light-weight, making them perfect for these “I can’t make my mind up” Alabama temperatures. It’s worth noting that they aren’t high wasted, which is a drawback, but not a deal breaker. I’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on the Spanx faux leather moto’s tho. Do any of y’all have them? Love them or not worth it?
Moving on to these sneakers. I wear sneakers everyday, and having a good neutral pair is great. Originally, I ordered the Adidas “Ultra Boost” in my regular size (6) and when they came in, they were huge! I was so disappointed, and when I sent them back to exchange for a 5, they were sold out. That seems to always happen to me! After searching for another neutral pair for nearly six months (I’m picky about my footwear ha!), I found these and love them. I’d say they fit TTS, I’m wearing my usual 6. Added bonus? They’re half the price!
Be sure to check back tomorrow to see how I dressed up this sweatshirt!
