Oh the Winter Blues. I’m pretty sure I’ve complained about the cold in every post I’ve written since October. And I will continue to complain about it until April. If I have to be cold, I better be sitting on a gorgeous wrap around porch, by a fire pit, sipping coffee (and by coffee I mean Chardonnay), looking at two feet of snow, wrapped up in a cashmere blanket with my man friend, in Colorado.
My attempt to beat the Winter Blues is to turn them into Winter Pinks. Bright pinks. Just because the weather is dreary doesn’t mean your outfit has to be!
I saw this cardigan and knew I had to give it a new home! It’s just too girly and bright to be spending its time in a warehouse! Once I got it, I immediately knew how I wanted to style it. No drab white shirt for me, I went on the hunt for an aqua colored gingham oxford, and much to my dismay, NOTHING!!! After scouring the Internet for days, I got the bright idea to try Belk Kids at my local mall. I knew they kept good stock of Ralph Lauren in the boys department, and I couldn’t have gotten any luckier with this find! It has EVERY COLOR of my cardigan in it! Best part? Only $45.00!!!
What would have made this outfit even better? If I wouldn’t have forgotten my leopard calf hair belt!
