Have y’all jumped on the tie dye trend this season yet? It was the trend I was most excited about, yet I haven’t purchased anything until now. Not for lack of trying, but every piece I found that I liked seemed to be sold out in my size. Not that there weren’t plenty of options, but I really wanted something bright, but with well blended colors. Does that make sense?
And then what a ‘ya know. I order my first tie dye piece in brown lol
This tie dye maxi is another Amazon purchase (are y’all bored yet?), but a complete stray from the color wheel for me. Brown (they call it Coffee on the site), isn’t a color I’ve ever gravitated toward, quite the opposite, actually, but I just couldn’t resist. Have y’all ever been there?
After scrolling over all of the colors multiple times, I continued to come back to the Coffee. Honestly, I’m itching to wear a bootie with it when the rest of the country says it’s Fall, but Alabama refuses to accept it. That’s actually what sold me on the color option! That, and the fact that everyone has this same maxi in the blues and purples. It fits true to size, has pockets, comes in 13 different colors, and is only $28.00. It’s also an Amazon Prime item, so that’s always nice! Free shipping, and free returns, and I swear y’all, they have the easiest returns!
To provide y’all with a little TMI (because that’s what I’m best at), I have hyperhidrosis. I wore this maxi while at the beach to outlet shop, and I was fine. AC’s friend even asked me, “Aren’t you hot in that long dress?”. Well, yes I am, it’s 98 degrees with 100% humidity! But honestly, I was fine in the dress. I was sweating, as anyone would in those temps, but I found it to be a much more comfortable option than my denim shorts!
I say all of that to say that maxi’s can be quite hot during the warmer months, and I was fine in it.
