Wearing A Tunic As A Dress

Ahh, a perk of being only 5′ tall: being able to wear a tunic as a dress! In fact, most of the dresses I wear are, in fact, a tunic. Most of the time actual dresses are way to long for me, so unless I just have to have it (which justifies the alterations bill), I’ll always purchase a tunic and wear it as a dress. This is easier to do in the Spring and Summer months because you can put a pair of cutoffs under it (like I did here) and we all know I live for my cutoffs! In the cooler months, a pair of bicycle shorts or boy shorts will do the trick. They won’t be seen, just a little self-assurance that if the wind blows the wrong way you won’t have a Janet Jackson situation on your hands.

I found these booties while searching for the Vince Camuto Movinta bootie, which was completely sold out in my size. I was adamant about finding a bootie in this color and with a cone heel and these are identical, except they don’t taper in the front. Boots that taper are always best for elongating your legs, which is what every girl, regardless of height, wants, right? These fit TTS and are really comfortable. Vince Camuto makes a very high quality shoe, I own several pairs and I’ve never been disappointed!

I have several casual outfit posts headed your way, but would y’all want me to mix in some Holiday Party outfit ideas? Or keep it as is with everyday wear? Let me know!
