All suited up for the weekend in the most perfect set from VICI! Was there even a need in telling y’all where I bought it? I swear, that site gets all of my disposable income.

Truth be told, I’ve never bought a matching set before. I’m not sure why, I see them all over Instagram and love them. When I saw this set though, I instantly knew it was for me. I was literally hawk-eyeing the mailbox once I got the shipment notification.

The reason this particular set feels so perfect to me is because you can style both pieces separately and get use out of them in every season. I wanted to wear them together at first, as I think they pack a bigger punch that way, but am excited to wear each on their own, too.

To style the shorts sans blazer, you can do as I did above and wear them with a simple tank. My favorite tanks for this purpose (and all others, quite frankly) are the Downtown Cami’s from Express. If you’ve been a reader for a while, you know I post about these often. In my many years of layering, they’re by far my favorite!

Once we ease into Fall a bit, you can wear these shorts with a sweater! Next week, I’m shooting it with a quarter sleeve sweater, so you’ll get to see them styled that way. They’ll also carry over nicely into the holiday season by adding a pair of tights and a black sweater. That’s my game plan anyway.

As far as the blazer goes, you can add it to jeans or leggings, even cutoffs. I think it’ll look really cute with a plaid pop over under it! It also pairs great over dresses. I tried it on over a slip dress and loved the way it looked! Blazers look fab with anything, though, am I right? Of course I am. Ha!

Worth noting, this blazer has a full sleeve, I just prefer them cuffed to quarter length. Blazers tend to swallow me whole if I don’t do this (see this post for proof!).

Referencing that post, these 42 Gold sandals have gotten way more wear than I thought they would. I’d always wanted a yellow shoe, but purchased them to spice up simple white dresses and other ensembles. I’ve actually taken quite the liking to pairing them with opposite colors, though! Like in that post with my emerald blazer, and above, with brick. I also wore them with a blue palm printed dress to the GSG Fashion Show (here), and again (here) with a floral printed kimono dress. They’re very comfortable and fit TTS, and come in Black and Pink as well.
