Saying Goodbye to 2018

Good riddance 2018! There was a meme last year that said “If 2017 was a person, it’d been named Felicia”. Well, that’s how I feel about 2018. If it could have gone wrong, it did. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very blessed to have had another year, but it was a doozy.

I’m really excited for all that 2019 has to offer. I try not get to wrapped up in the whole “New year, New me” crap, because any day of the year one can focus on bettering their life. But, it is exciting starting from scratch, so I digress.

This year, I’m planning to focus all of my time and energy on Bottle No. 5. It won’t be easy, of course, as I work 50+ hours a week and sit on two charity boards, but if I can manage my time better, it’s completely doable. There are also multiple things that I’m willing to step away from to make it happen (I have a bad habit of saying yes when it’s not a good fit for me).

I’m a list person, so I’ve compiled a short list of things I’d like to do in 2019 to better Bottle No. 5:

  • Attend an influencer conference
  • Take a photography and photography editing class
  • Learn the ins-and-outs of analytics and SEO
  • Meet a few blogger friends in my niche

These aren’t all easily attainable, but I’ve penciled them in on my monthly goals. I think having to look at them each month will motivate me to try to make them happen! After all, out of sight, out of mind, right?

Is there anything in particular that y’all are looking forward to in 2019? Let me know in the comments!
