Leopard Satin Frock + Things I’m Saving For

Wednesday, I talked about my preference of an oversized fit, and this little frock touches on that as well.

A few things I wanted to talk about with this dress are the different ways to wear it based on your body type and styling preference. Personally, I don’t like anything too low-cut, so I opted to pull it higher in the front. The benefit to dresses that allow for this are that if you’re like me and built like a boy, it gives the illusion of hips. If you’re already a “hippy” gal, this trick is not for you!!! If you’re tall and/or thin, wearing it as is (like the model) is the best way for your figure. Do you carry the mass of your weight in your midsection? Simply add a belt.

I love when I snag pieces that work well for multiple body types! This dress is fully stocked and comes in sizes small-large. It fits TTS and is perfect for any event you may have coming up.

Moving on to the second part of this post, the items I’ve been saving for. I’m not big on “splurges”, so to speak. I suppose what I mean is I’m not big on swiping myself into debt. I prefer to put what I can back and save toward the more expensive things that I want. Do y’all remember this post where I touched on this?

Things I’m Saving For

1. Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers

I purchased the Golden Goose Slide Sneakers in Highlighter Pink at the beginning of Summer. I love them, they’re adorable and so comfortable. However, I do regret not going with the original pair I saved for so I could really get my moneys worth. That’s how these ended up on the list.

2. Goyard Artois Tote

I’d wanted the LV Neverfull for forever, but we all know how that shook down. In a way, I feel like it was totally a blessing, because those suckers are everywhere. I ultimately decided to purchase the Speedy 30, since it was my first love. I’m so glad I did! But, I still need a good, large everyday bag, and this Goyard is the same concept, but not on the shoulder of every mom in America.

3. Gucci Marmont Leather Shoulder Bag

I’m in that 1% that has never been a fan of Gucci. I’ve never liked a single item they’ve designed. Especially that stupid damn belt that everyone has, where most are probably Amazon fakes. Sorry, not sorry. #endrant. However, when I first saw this bag, I stopped scrolling and went straight to Pinterest to see more. While it’s also everywhere, I genuinely love it. Yes, I was shocked, too. I’ll take it in the pink velvet and peacock blue velvet as well. Please, and thank you.

These shoes are going to be the first item I purchase. I’m really hoping that they go on sale at the end of the season, but they’ve been big sellers, so it’s doubtful. Sigh. At first, I really wanted the gold ones, but I was continually checking in on this leopard pair, so that’s what I’m going to go with.
