I’m a total summertime girl. The river, the pool, the boat, tanning. 100 degree weather is my happy place. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to change the fact that mother nature is rearing her ugly head and bringing on the cooler weather. What to do when that happens? One word: Layers.
Layering (and boots) are the only thing I enjoy about anything non-summertime. Oh, and my fire pit. My Fall go to’s are button ups, over sized cardigans (you’ll come to notice that during the cooler months I live in over sized cardigans), and booties. In Alabama, layers are really the only way to go because the weather is so inconsistent. It’s easier to be be able to peel off and pull on as needed, rather than having to haul around a coat.
