Bralettes

Aerie Racerback Bralette, $20.00

Free People Racerback Bralette, $38.00

VS PINK Lace Bralette, $24.95

Nasty Gal Lace Bralette, $18.00

I purchased my first bralette last summer with the intention of wearing it with button up shirts to add a bit of a punch to an otherwise simple look. I’ve always worn the Victoria Secret Bombshell Bra (remember when Kelly Ripa talked about the $50.00 boob job?!?) in hopes that at least a part of me would look like an adult female versus a pre-pubesant teenage girl. I even named my bras “Big Momma” (insert laughing so hard I’m crying emoji here).

I never realized just how uncomfortable Big Momma was until I wore the bralette. I’d forgotten how nice it was to be able to move my arms across my body easily and for my boobs to sit where they naturally should instead of at my collar bones.

With the bralette, I literally don’t even realize it’s there half the time, my body looks way more natural and my clothes hang better on my frame than they did when I falsified a C cup. The comfort level of a bralette is indescribable, but with so many colors and styles to choose from in an assortment of price ranges, what’s stopping you from giving bralettes a try?
