A Clean, Neutral Look

I don’t think I’ve done a neutral look yet? I’m one who really loves color. The brighter the better and print mixing is my jam. However, I do love the simplicity of a clean, neutral look. It’s classic and sophisticated. The latter being something I’m not, so maybe that’s why I feel so damn classy in neutrals?

I should be honest, though. I bought this sweater in bright pink, too (last styled here).

My style seems to be all over the place, and I really like that about myself. Being unpredictably predictable. Ask my momma, I’ve been that way with everything my entire life.

She used to say to me, “You change your mind more than you change your underwear!”. That sounds gross, but is probably true lol. She also used to tell me that “When God handed out boobs and brains, you hid behind a rock!”, so I feel she’s most likely right in her synopsis of me.

Anyway, I said all of that to say that I think it’s unique to be unpredictable. To be flighty, free- spirited, if you will. I get bored easily, yet I hate change.

I took one of those personality tests a couple of months ago and the levels of how I was on the different personality types were all over the board! Honestly though, I expected to give them my email address for the results and to get “You’re an asshole” in my inbox. So I suppose having a star or two in each category is better than an email confirmation that you’re an insensitive jerk.

Do y’all prefer a more clean, neutral look, or a more colorful one?
